Powder Decks
Wide nose, tapered swallowtail shapes built to float on the deepest Cottonwood Canyon storm days.
Summit Drift builds and fits snowboards out of our Salt Lake City workshop, tuned to how you actually ride — deep-day float, resort laps, or backcountry splitboard missions. Every board leaves our shop dialed in for your stance, weight, and terrain.
Each board category is built around a specific kind of day on the mountain — pick the one that matches how you actually ski, then we fine-tune flex and shape to your weight and stance.
Wide nose, tapered swallowtail shapes built to float on the deepest Cottonwood Canyon storm days.
Balanced camber and medium flex for riders who want one board to do groomers, trees, and everything between.
Twin-tip flex tuned for rails, jumps, and switch landings, built with a softer flex that forgives.
Touring-ready decks with skinnable bases and climbing hardware, shaped for backcountry laps.
Work with our in-house artists to put a one-off topsheet design on any board in the lineup.
A 45-minute in-store fitting session dials stance width, angles, and boot flex before you ever hit the lift.
We're not a warehouse brand dropped into a big-box aisle. Our shapers ride the same lines you do, and every board design gets adjusted after real days in Alta, Snowbird, and Solitude snow. When a shape doesn't hold an edge the way we want on hardpack, we redraw it before it ever reaches a customer.
That local feedback loop is why our fittings run 45 minutes instead of five: we're matching flex pattern, sidecut, and stance to your actual riding, not just your shoe size. Walk-ins are welcome, but riders who book ahead get first pick of demo boards for that week's snow conditions.
“My old board always washed out on Alta's hardpack mornings. The Summit Drift shapers reground my edges and adjusted my stance angle in one visit — completely different board on ice now.”
“Booked the splitboard fitting before a Wasatch backcountry trip. They walked me through skin track hardware and got my climbing bars set up right — first tour with zero gear headaches.”
“Ordered a custom graphic board for my son's birthday. The shop walked us through flex options for his weight so it wasn't just a paint job — he's since worn through a full season of park laps.”
